How do you install Windows XP from an external dvd drive?
I need to do a clean reinstall of Windows XP, but since the internal dvd drive on my Gateway 7510GX is no longer funcional, I need to do this from my external usb dvd drive. Any help is greatly appreciated.
you will only be able to do this if your bios supports booting from usb, if not you will need to get another cd rom / dvd drive
