How come I Can't Play Age of Empires II on Vista?
I am running Vista Home Premium. Everything works fine but a I get a standard mouse cursor instead of the AOE2 one. Everything works until I try to start the game. It loads the game, turns black, and says "Age of Empires 2 has stopped working"
I really want to play this. I have an nvidea Geforce go 6150. I tried running in compatibility mode for XP, 2000, and 98.
Download the latest patch for the game, check the disk for scratches, make sure you didn't delete any of the files in the game folder or you could try and contact the support team if it still doesn't work.
