i am using windows vista black edition?
i am using windows vista black edition i have downloaded windows media player 12, it was installed successfully, when i restarted my pc and it started showing no O.S found. why is it happened like that.

Vista black editition? Never heard of that. Vista only comes in Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate and Business. If you have installed something called Vista Black Edition, I am guessing it's probably a non-genuine Microsoft product.
Windows media player 12 does not exist. If you installed something called "Windows Media Player 12" then it was probably off some dodgy website. Software which is, no doubt, stuffed full or adware and spyware or worse. The latest version of Windows Media Player is version 10. You should only download it from the Microsoft Website.
I would suggest you get your Recovery CDs out and hope you can recover your system.
