>That is a very current build if you ask me and up-to-date parts, although now, with Sandy Bridge second gen i-core cpu's it's not the most current cpu based system. The i7 920 was the first to be released and then 930 took its place. the i7 950 was the next step up based on first generation i-core cpu's. They are still holding their ground in terms of value as Intel has not lowered their first gen cpu cost at all from what I can see. The blu ray ROM you have is a big help and the HD 5770 is a good card as well. A 2T drive is a very nice addtion. So I would rate this computer a 9 out of 10 or maybe a 9.2 or even 9.3.
Since the computer is "used" you are going to have to accept a hit on fair market value - computers are like cars, they loose value as soon as you "drive it" off the lot, so to speak. A typical price reduction is around 25% of the original purchase value. I think, as long as the computer is in good working order and the operating system is NOT corrupted in any way, shape or form, you can get nearly 75% of what you paid for originally, which means I think you probably could ask for and get $975 for it.
