Can a Memory Stick PRO Duo be used as RAM?
Well, my computer has one of those memory stick/card readers, with Windows Vista Home Premium.
Just today my uncle told me I could use the memory stick I have (A Memory Stick PRO Duo 1GB) as RAM for my PC, as long as there's nothing on it, since I have Windows Vista. He said if it has nothing on it, it'll be automatically used as RAM.
So, well, I formatted it, but I'm not too sure if it's working or not, and I don't know anything that would tell me if it is or not, so does anyone know if Memory Stick PRO Duo's can be used as RAM?
I know a flash drive/USB drive can be used as RAM on Vista, but I never heard of a Memory stick being used that way.
test your ram memory opening up as many softwares. with heavy graphics as u can. if the memory stick is working as ram you will be able to keep working with more software open than without it.
