What's the difference between AMD Turion 64 Mobile Technology MK-36 vs Intel Core Duo in terms of performance?
I'm about to purchase a notebook and really need to know which of the two delivers better processing power.If the AMD chip is closer or at par with a Celeron then I think I'll stick with my Core Duo!Thanks a bunch!
the Turion 64 MK-36 is a single core processor and can be compared with the Pentium M. the Core Duo is a dual core processor with 2MB L2 cache (MK-36: 512kB) and an improved power management. so i would definitely choose the Core Duo.
