Would you buy pc bundle with dual or quad core?
I am looking at getting a new desk top and would rather purchase in a bundle. Most of the posts on this subject are older ones and said to wait on quads...so would now be a good time to buy this? Also 1TB?? This is good too rt? I want my new pc to stay around for a while so thinking it is not to futuristic at this point. I am not buying for gaming purposes so this is not an issue at this point. I am in college and doing online classes and will be using for general purposes at home, if that helps.
I have been looking at bundles on line so I can go to local stores to purchase and the prices at Walmart and Staples seem really reasonable...ranging from $500-650. This even include quad bundles!

For General work the Duals are probably better, as they save you money, and still get you a pretty good use out of the computers, but the quads will preform better for longer. And 1TB is useful depending on how much crap you will put on your computer. I have a 750GB Hard Drive and over 100GB of it is music.
