Is 2.6 GHZ dual core cpu (AMD ATHLON 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200) decent for gaming?
Ok. So I am currently looking to upgrade my computer for gaming uses (nothing major, just some truck simulators and fs2004), and I was wondering if a 2.6 ghz dual core processor AMD ATHLON 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200 is decent for gaming. I already have 3gb of DDR2-SDRAM PC-4200 533MHz, and a NVDIA geforce 6150LE video card. I know that the video card is crap, but besides that, do my memory and cpu need upgrading or is it pretty decent? I have vista home premium 32bit so going over 3 gb ram would be kind of pointless.
And also, will this memory and cpu be decent/last me for another 3 years (thats when i plan to purchase a new computer)?

Yes that would be decent enough, including RAM. You really just need a "real" graphics card. The ATI HD 5570 is decent enough if you have no intention of upgrading power supply too. HD 5570 is just a 39 watt card but miles ahead of your 6150LE.
Upgrading to maintream cards like the Geforce GTS 450 or the ATI HD 5750 may require power supply upgrade.
Your PC is definitely decent enough for general computing work even for another 3 years. It is more powerful than a lot of new netbooks and All-in-one PC that uses the popular Atom processor. They are just ahead in terms of low power consumption and the use of Windows 7 (definitely better than Vista).
