Is It Possible To Dual-Monitor Using The VGA And DVI Ports?
Hi,
I own a 17" Dell TFT. I just got me a 14" Dell TFT from a friend. Now, my GPU (8600GT) has a VGA and a DVI port. Both the monitors are VGA, so I went out and purchased a VGA to DVI adapter.
I connect the adaptor to my original 17" and poped that into the DVI port, I then connected the 14" to the VGA port but only one of them work.
Anything I connect to the DVI does not show, only the VGA shows up.
Help!
Ryan, I've tried that. Which ever monitor I connect useing the DVI adaptor, dosn't work.
It will work, I'm doing it right now. You need to go into the display properties and select "Extend my desktop onto this monitor" to enable it.
