Is Windows 7 release candidate and HP Pavilion dv4-1227us compatible including vista 64 bit drivers?
I've been told that windows 7 is compatible with the vista drivers and if this is true I would be very interested in installing 7 because like many others I do not like vista and it's many deficiencies. If the vista drivers are compatible, I would like any confirmation that my laptop drivers do work with 7 or if I will need to wait till the official release so that HP releases new drivers specifically for Windows 7. Windows 7 RC *should* be compatible with Vista drivers, but it is not guaranteed as it is not a finished OS. If you are hesitant about testing out the RC, then you should hold off and wait until the final, finished version is released.
