I am installing Windows Vista 64-bit, is it true that all 64-bit drivers have to be signed by Microsoft?
I am building a machine for video editing, dual Xeon CPUs, 8 GB of RAM among other things. I know that the motherboard and all of the integrated parts have 64-bit drivers, but what happens if I have something that only runs on 32-bit drivers? Also, surely if the drivers had to be signed, why would anyone make unsigned drivers? Is there a workaround to make them work?

Yeah, and it sucks. I just bought a new computer for audio recording and I am actually downgrading to XP today because my recording hardware does not yet make "signed" drivers compatible with a 64 bit operating system.
