Pro Desktop getting extruded shape back help?
I made a design and then clicked on the face and hit "New Sketch". I made a rectangle in the design and extruded it so there is a rectangular gap in the design. What I want to know is what is the easiest way to get that Square back as a single design? The gap is where the lid is going to sit and I need to get the exact rectangular shape back. Quickest way?
It’s been years since I used that program (moved onto Solidworks and stuff at uni but Solidworks is fairly similar) so forgive me if i sound a bit vague. Have you checked the history tree (there should be a panel on the side showing the steps of your model) you should be able to delete the past steps and revert back to the stage you want to go to.
If that fails you can try to undo it, and if that fails you could try a new sketch in the gap and extrude it up to the same plane as the surface (I don’t like doing that as its messy)
