2.4 or 2.66 GHz MacBook Pro?
I am going to purchase a MacBook Pro for college, but I don't know which one to buy, right now I have two choices:
1. 2.4GHz MacBook Pro with 8GB memory, 500GB HDD
2 2.66GHz MacBook Pro with 4GB memory, 500GB HDD
(They are about the same price)
I will be using this computer to do school work and programming, also I will be using Parallels Desktop 6 to run Windows 7. Which one I should chose? Thank You, happy new year!
Sorry i forgot to mention that I have a Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate Copy. I am purchasing a MacBook because I need XCode to program iPhone Apps.
The difference in speed is small, but the difference in memory is big (double). I would go with the one that has 8GB memory, that will be a lot more helpful for parallels and running a lot of apps at the same time.
