going to buy a used desk top should i get a p4 ht 3.0 ghtz or a amd 64x2 ? and why?
Out of those two choices I would recommend the AMD 64x2 since it has two physical cores (basically two processors) . The P4 is a good speed but it only has one core and emulates having a 2nd. Most newer software takes advantage of multiple cores these days.
