LCD Screen problem? Pink color?
My LCD screen has this pink spot that stretches some in the top left corner. It also makes my LCD screen seem dimmer, and the color's are faded. The LCD is from Dell. From 2000, and it is a XP. Is this fixable or will I just need to purchase a new LCD? Also what are cheap reasonable prices for LCD's that fit a 50 to 150 budget.
It is possible to change the screen, but I'd suggest you get Dell to do it. cost probably all of the 150
or if you don't need it to be portable(?) buy a cheap lcd display and plug it into the vga port (you do have one ?)on the back of the laptop cost 50-70. good luck
