How to cut wifi on on a dell inspiron 8000?
I just bought a dell inspiron 8000 off of ebay. Does anyone know if wifi is built in and if so how do you turn it on. I have dsl and went and bought a wireless rounter but i am still not getting wireless internet.
Probably need a PCMCIA wireless card.. Usually there's an FN key shortcut to turn wireless on and off for Dell's. Newer units have a switch on side. There's a cover on the bottom, and you can remove it to see if you have an internal WIFI card. You can search under device manager and network adapter to see if a card is listed.
