How do I set up my laptop to run with a external monitor?
I have a dell insperon 8600 laptop, with Windows xp home. It took a dive off the desk today and the screen broke inside. I went out and bought a nice new dell 19" monitor and it works great but I can't get my laptop screen to turn off in all its shattered glory. I also got a wireless keyboard and mouse so I just want to be able to set my laptop aside (closed) and just use it like a PC tower can i change the settings to be able to do that thanks!
