Tear in laptop power cord?
I take it out every couple hours or so because the top where the tear is gets really hot and I don't want to start a fire. I have to push the cord so that my laptop charges when it is hot, and i accidentally touched the tear part and i felt a small shock. I know I need a new one, and my laptop is still under warranty. Would a basic dell warranty cover the problem? My dad had also had no time to call, so yea. How can I take care of it, or even fix it until I can get a new one?
