Try going onto the Dell website and downloading the latest drivers. The Lattitude D820 was a great machine - in its day - but it is getting a bit long in the tooth now. It would have come with a CD-RW drive as standard. Also, you will appreciate that this was a business laptop so the video card may not be up to playing films satisfactorily anyway.
