Add a Screen Resolution to Windows XP?
I just bought a used Dell Optiplex GX620 running Windows XP SP3. I'm using an Acer X203H widescreen LCD monitor though, and I can't find the native 1600x900 resolution. Is there a way to add this resolution or use a hack to enable it? Thanks.
screen resolutions are predefined capabilities of the graphics card. If it is not supported it won't be listed, conversly if it is not listed, it is not supported. You can try an update on the drivers of the card but that probably won't have any affect.
