Can you use a PCI Express 2.0 card with a motherboard that has a 1.0a slot?
I have a Dell Optiplex GX620. I want to put in an ATI Radeon HD 3450, which uses a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot.
The specs of the Optiplex aren't that clear on the Dell site:

But I believe that the motherboard has a PCI Express 1.0a x16 slot.
Can you use a PCI Express 2.0 card with a motherboard that has a 1.0a slot?
