Ive been busy trying to speed up my old Dell GX270. Is there any suggestions to what I can do to speed it up?
I haven't used my old Dell in over a year. I just fixed the "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" error, and now I want to see what I can do to speed up the computer. I have gotten advice as to clean the disk, but I would be just as fine clearing all the memory to have it so that it would be as good as it was before I saved all these files onto it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Push the RAM to the max. 2 gig or 4 gig depending one which GX270 you got.
The smaller GX270 only has two slots for RAM. The larger has four slots.

If you only have one gig of RAM you will want at least 2 gig of RAM. And get XP home or pro 32 bit on it.
