When I upgrade my dell's RAM and I order from a website do I need to order a quanity of 2?
I have 256mb RAM now and its hella annoying. I was thinking of upgrading to 512 or 1 GB. I have a dell dimension 3000 pentium 4 2.8 ghz 1mb cache. My pc runs hella slow when I have just a couple apps open. I have 2 spyware progs, firewall, antivirius, i run defrag on a reg basis, along with disc clean up. So its got to be just a lack of memory. I went to the dell website and they said its recommended to buy a quanity of 2, what is up with that?
