how can I get my QBasic programs to run and look right on this laptop monitor, Dell Inspiron?
I wrote my QBasic programs on an older Win 98 desktop with a 17" CRT monitor....this laptop has a rectangular flat monitor. My programs are stretched out to fill the rectangular window instead of smoothly fitting as they did on the CRT monitor. Please advise if QBasic programs can be made to work correctly on this monitor.
See if you can run your apps in compatibility mode (assuming your in XP now), also, there should be an option to run it in 640x480, which should resolve the issue.
R. click ->properties, click compatibility tab.
