i replaced my dell cpu fan that is aimed at my cpu with a smaller quiter one. now i get this fan failure error
The fan i replaced it with just pluges into the power four prong connecter not to the mother board.... i think thats why its saying fan failure when i load up windows. there is no fan pluged into the cpu fan connection on the motherboard...
HOW DO I REMOVE THIS PROBLEM
i have alredy turned off key board errors in the bios and updated it
the computer is a dell 4700
check again to see if the fan was properly installed,drivers,check for windows compatibility, restar pc keep pressing F12, run diagnostic utility software, to check for any additional problem.
