How do I extract data from my old internal hard drive?
my old dell p4 crashed. the hard drive is still good. my new hp amd duo core doesn't have the same internal connection cables as the dell hard drive. Is there any hardware I can buy that will mount an internal hard drive and make it accessible externally via usb or firewire?
You can go to any major retailer for electronics and get a USB enclosure for around $30. Make sure it is made for the type of drive you had. Probably and EIDE. I have two I use for old system drives and works well.
