Memory Modules Interchangable?
I owned an IBM M51 1843 that just croaked. I had for memory 3 CenDyne 1GB DDR RAM PC-3200 184-Pin DIMM modules. This is the new PC I ordered a DELL OPTIPLEX 745/SMT 3400MHz . The CenDyne is non ECC memory. Will the CenDynes work in the DELL?
If it's a new PC, it's not going to be using DDR1, so no.
You could, however, swap it into an older DDR1 based system.
