should i add more RAM to this laptop?
i got this new dell laptop from my parents, but i think i should add more RAM to it. heres the specs

798mhz, 512mb RAM
I just notice the laptop thinking way too much when theres not many applications running. is it the RAM i also play world of warcraft on the laptop and the computer can lag very badly at times. warcraft min requirements says 1gb ram.
so should I upgrade the RAM? or is it something else? also is RAM expensive and could i install it myself?

Its DDR2 SDRam (i endtered the service tag on dell.com)
Make sure you get the same RAM spec on your computer (for example same Hertz). I would try this first before upgrading.
1. Click "start"
2. click "run"
3. Type "MSCONFIG"
4. disable unnecessary programs at startup.
This will disable unnecessary programs to run in the background.
