what kind of psu do i need?
Hi all Im after a 500w power supply for my HP DC7600 CMT but i'm unsure of what type I need, is it standard ATX or something special?

That's an absolutely standard ATX power supply. Just pick any reliable one of the wattage you need and you'll be able to upgrade easily. In general, if you have a tower with CD drives mounted horizontally, it will use ATX power supplies.
The only time power supplies get weird is when you're talking about a slimline, small form factor or all in one computer. THOSE are a pain to find PSUs for.
