Im tring to use a music creator program to record, but need help?
Cakewalk music creator version 2 is an old version and its website offers very little info due to this. And the fact that I have almost no experience with this kind of software, or Pc's in general for that matter, makes achieving any form of desired results, a "hella long process" if you will. LOL So, here is my question... I would like to make a CD of my recordings but after converting to wav, or mp3, i then begin a burn using windows media . I get a burn complete Message , CD ejects, but nothing on CD. Every so often I did get a message saying the CD was corrupt, or dirty, or to try a different brand CDRW. which i have done several times. Is this a CD-rom problem or windows media problem, Cakewalk compatibillity problem. I also tried a different burn program, that came with Cakewalk, drivers maybe? done updates.....any other ideas? ty very much all
try burning a cd with mp3's of not your recordings... i.e. something not from cakawalk. if that cd turns out fine, then it's a cakewalk problem, otherwise it's a burner problem, or or burning software problem.
you can try a different software to burn (i usually use nero...) the mp3's (and also make sure you can listen to the mp3's in winamp or any other media player...)
