Windows XP showing 1.2 ghz for an AMD quad core 9600?
I just installed XP Pro to my new rig which has a 2.3 ghz quad core processor. After installation, only 1.2ghz is showing in system properties... Is there a Windows patch that I need to download or should I fix it via a tweak to the BIOS?
Contact amd or whoever sold you the processor and request a new driver.
