Is it better to buy a slower quad core over a faster clocked dual core when gaming?
The difference will be slim to none on many games, with advantages showing up on both sides. Favortism would probably lean to dual on current games and quad on upcoming ones. Being paranoid, I do not yet fully trust the quads, so would personally do with the fast dual for the moment.
Also, my past experience with Intel's handling of quality issues (for an example, google "double sigma intel") makes me lean towards AMD (again personally)
