difference in Memory usage between x64 and x86 operating systems...?
I understand that when you have a 32bit(x86) o.s. you can only use up to 4 GB of RAM (random access memory...

If you are using 64bit(x64) operating system, you can use more than 4GB of RAM...
so my question is 32bit really just ganno use 4GB of memory, while i have a 8GB memory installed in my Motherboard?
and will the other 4GB of memory, totally won't be used by my system?
so is it kind of a waste?
please help me... i only have a 32bit os available, and my 64bit isn't working if i try to install it... this error code goes: 0x80070241 saying that windows cannot copy the files maybe corrupt or missing...
please help...

I cant explain all of the technical aspects but yes, 64bit OS's utilize large amounts of RAM whereas 32bit doesnt. Your computer will run a lot faster with a 64bit OS with 8G of RAM. It's a shame that your 64bit disk is giving you errors. Try burning a copy of it to another CD and then installing from the copy. That has worked for me in the past with scratched music CD's.
