Does the core 2 duo on the macbook pro run fast?
I am thinking about getting a new macbook but the only one in my price range is the 13 inch that has a core 2 duo processor. I know the bigger macs run on i5 an 17 processors. Is there a huge difference?
The Core i5 processor in the entry-level 15" MacBook Pro model is significantly faster than the Core 2 Duo in the 13" MacBook Pro models. However, if your needs are basic, a 13" model likely would work well.
