Am using Core 2 quad DG35EC processor, 2GB Ram, 500GG HDD, NVIDIA 8600GT (PCI express), 19" TFT?
While playing games like NFS Carbon, Prince of Persia 2008, Infernal, NFS under Cover my PC hangs what would be the problem, and DVD burning takes atleast 45min, its a new brand system, Can u help in this 
Could be overheating- did you build this yourself? Check the heatsinks etc. Otherwise check your video settings- the 8600GT is not much of a gaming card.
Open the case up (assuming you can do this without voiding warranty) and let it get a bit more air.
