Help please, i cannot disable my classic logon prompt and wish my welcome screen was activated on my windowsxp?
i have tried many times from going on the start menu then clicking control panel, then clicking user accounts then clicking change the way the user logs on and off and then checking the box use the welcome screen then clicking apply options but for some reason i still keep getting the classic logon prompt. please help!
Click on Start, then Run. Type "control userpasswords2". Click on the Advanced tab. Uncheck the box labeled "Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete" in the Secure Logon area.
