It all depends on what you are using your computer for , just surfing the web will not take as much but will definitely be better with a faster processor, but playing games or running big software might be a reason for you to either upgrade or buy a new one. Now a days it doesn't take long for a computer to be considered slow especially if you are like me in the lower to middle class. Luckily i know a bit about computers and I am able to upgrade mine with little cost due to eBay and wholesale company's. But it really depends on your need for your computer.
