Computer ram memory problems?
i have some problems in my dell computer when i put 2gb ram (1gb + 1gb) and when i turn on computer restart
I have 4 slots of ram (DDR pc2700) the ram is the same because when i put 1gb work
I have looked at the crucial and my computer max. Memory is 4gb
OS: Windows XP Pro SP3
You probably did not fully seat the RAM. So power down everything and open it back up and finish the installation. Check out the installation videos at crucial.com
You never said which make/model of your dell. It might be important which slots you have the RAM chips installed into.
