why can't my computer run at css at max settings?
I have only 17 inch monitor.
2gb of ram
x1900xl 512 mb
p4 3ghz
now, counter strike source recommends: 2.4 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9 level graphics card, which is definitely worse than my current pc. Not even at max settings, more like medium, with 12** x 7** resolution can't get good fps. I only get like 30 sometimes 25.I know that cpu change would help, but I can't do it because my motherboard is old and can't handle c2d. What do you suggest?
