my computer, HP Compaq dc5700 micro-tower
I got a video card and I was wondering if my computer would handle it
so here we go my computer is a "HP Compaq dc5700 micro-tower"
and my video card is a "sapphire HP 3650"
think ill be able to use it? and if so a tut would help A LOT!
I'm having a hard time finding where it says what kind I have mind sending me a link so I can see what games I can play
According to the service guide at HP for the Compaq DC5700 Microtower, it has a full-height PCIExpress 16x slot: http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00765916/c00765916.pdf
You can put any PCIExpress 16x video card in there as long as it fits inside the case without bumping into the drive bays in the front, and your power supply has enough amps on its +12V rail to power the card as well as the rest of the system.
Personally, I wouldn't bother with an HD3650. It's three generations out of date.
I would get an HD5750 at least.
