Can i recover files from a laptop that i cant even boot up past the windows xp screen to a different computer?
i need to reinstall my OS on my dell enspiron E1505 (Windows XP) but i dont wanna lose all my files and stuff, is it possible to recover/ transfer those files onto another computer or Hard Drive? I cant boot up my computer past the windows xp loading screen! if i can get my files back how?

There is a device called an IDE/SATA to USB adapter which allows you to SKIP the operating system entirely and just access the hard drive for the files (perfect in your situation). Heres a store that sells it for cheap:
