I have a Dell GX260 P4 1.8GHZ computer I want to upgrade?
What processor can I buy to do so? I had an extra Celeron 440 but it was too big to fit in the space. Any help at all would be truly appreciated.
That computer is worth about $50. I hate to say it, but I doubt it is worth upgrading. You will spend more on a processor than the computer is worth if you want a current one, and you will probably have some compatibility issues.
I would take your upgrade money and invest in a newer computer.
