My computer freezes when it connects to the internet?
ok, i have windows xp, and a Pentium D 2.8Ghz 64 bit processor (for what its worth) but whenever i plug my internet in my computer completely locks up, the only thing to do is a manual power down. i have ad-aware, avg, and zonealarm. i have run more scans than i can count, theres nothing on my computer. the internet runs through a d-link DI-604 router version E1 3.53 firmware. i have used this router in the past and it worked great. now it wont work. if i use another router or plug it straight in from the modem the internet works. but i cant get rid of the current router because other computers use it. what is wrong and how can i fix it.
remember the internet works fine with any other router, it just doesnt work with this one. but there are 3 other computers that use the router and they all work fine. thanks
