How do I update my computer graphic capabilities for Modern Warfare 2?

Well for me, I need more information about your computer before I can throw part suggestions at you. I need to know what motherboard you have and what your power supply is. It may be easier to just buy a new computer that can play MW2, as you have to not only upgrade your graphics (which your motherboard may not be able to handle, and your psu may not be able to power it), but your processor needs to be upgraded, which means your motherboard may need to be upgraded) and at that point, you are buying a new computer anyway.
I would recommend just getting a new computer. Just based on looking at the age of your processor and the type of computer you have, I can guess you have a 300w PSU, which won't be enough for the necessary graphics card unless you play the game on minimal settings.
Besides buying the new power supply, the graphics card, the processor, you have to worry about your case being able to accomidate the size of the new graphics card. these new cards are big. Very big. 7-11" long big.
And the last piece of all this is that if you don't know what you are doing, get all these parts, and try and install them yourself, you run the risk of ruining not only the new parts but the computer altogether.
