Anyone know how to change graphics card in compaq desktop and Asus UL30A? My desktop graphic card is ATI Radeon xpress 200 series (128mb) I would i like to change to 512mb. And my laptop is 32mb only. i would like to change to 128 mb.
You are out of luck on both counts.
The ATI Radeon xpress 200 is an onboard chipset. It cannot be removed. You can purchase another video card, install it, and then disable the onboard one... but you cannot remove it.
The Asus laptop also has a video chipset built in. It cannot be changed. Sadly, there is no way to install another one as well.
So, again, you are out of luck on removing either. If you had included the model of your Compaq Desktop, I might have been able to look up to see what expansion slots were included on that motherboard, and I could have suggested a few cards for you.... but you are now on your own since only YOU know what expansion slots that desktop has.
