How can I get my desktop to boot Windows XP CD?
Thanks you for your help in advance. Well I change the BIOS to boot for the cd first so that I can re-install Windows XP or at lease get to repair it, but my desktop would not run the cd and just passes over it. So can someone help me with this. Thanks
Another thought might be in your BIOS settings is to only have the CD boot as your only boot option and disable the other other boot from HDD or Boot from floppy etc. it'll force the computer to only boot from the CD rom.
