how to fix my computer windows 98 ..Boot from ATAPI CD-ROM failure:HELP PLSSSS!?
when i format using bootdisk after that my floopy doesnt work already so i cannot install windows 98. i put windows 98 cd and doesn't read and it says Atapi CD ROM failure.
plsss need your help ...i dont know what to do..pls give step by step method how to fix..thanks
Windows 98 is from the stone age. I'd update to Windows 2000 as a minimum. Since it's a 10 year old operating system, I'm sure you can scrounge one for free from somewhere/someone. Windows XP/Vista/7 are simply upgraded versions of Windows 2000, while Windows 95/98 reached their evolutory end with WIndows ME, the last (thank goodness) of Windows based on DOS.
