i cant boot windows xp into safe mode please help me?
I have a custom computer windows XP and I have system tool 2011. My computer doesn't have the option to press f8 to boot options. I can't run many programs including my antivirus and system restore. Is there any way to boot in safe mode witgout the f8 thing? i dont have the discs and i tried unplugging and holding power button to see if the options come up but nothing please help! Thank you!
Download Ubuntu, boot off an ubuntu live disc. Mount your harddrive while in ubuntu, check and fix problems with windows. Ubuntu is free and easy to use linux distribution.
You could alternatively make a partition with ubuntu on it, install an antivirus in ubuntu and scan your computer.
