Why won`t my computer boot from a windows CD?
I would like to reinstall windows XP, and I have inserted a bootable windows XP CD in it.It doesn`t recognize it, and doesn`t ask me if I want to boot from the CD. Any suggestions?
restart computer
press F2 /F1 / DEL button When its starts ( whatever it prompt to enter bios )
then go to boot settings
change the boot order as1-from dvd/cd ram 2-hard disk
the bios will change the boot order.
exit saving changes.
now again restart & see a command will appear as -press any key to boot from cd-
