There are a number of computer users that spend quite a significant amount of time updating their network cards drivers to the latest ones, by doing this many of them think that they can boost the performance of the component. However, the reality is that most of the latest drivers for their network components have bugs, so updating their network cards drivers can make their card unstable. People who update their drivers could potentially experience losing their connection to the internet quite frequently or their card suffers from unusual failures, if you're in that situations then I recommend you roll back to your older network adapter drivers.
In order for you to restore your network cards original drivers, all you'll have to do is upload the latest drivers for this hardware component to your computer system and then install the original drivers for it using the traditional method, or if you think that process is too difficult, you can install a driver management tool such as Driver Checker, which should be able to help you roll back to your previous drivers automatically.
If you have a Windows XP based system, then you can try the step by step instructions below:
1. Click on the "start" button and select "control panel"
2. Then click on "printers and other hardware"
3. On the left hand column click on "System"
4. Click on the "hardware" tab and select "Device Manager"
5. Right click on your network device in the hardware menu and select "properties"
6. In the properties menu, click on the drive and then select "roll back drivers"
If done correctly your systems original drivers should have been restored.
